Privacy

This page explains what Algarve Plans collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Algarve Plans is responsible for the data described here.

When you send a request

The request form asks for:

  • your first name and e-mail address;
  • the activity, the date and the size of your group;
  • the type of stay, and, if you choose to add them, the style, the occasion, a budget band and a note.

We use these details only to answer you. With your consent (the tick box on the form), we pass the request to one local operator so they can check availability and price. If you book, you deal with that operator directly, and their own privacy terms apply to the booking.

Requests reach us through Discord, the messaging service we read them in, and the site runs on Vercel. Both process the data for us and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep a request while we arrange the day and answer follow-up questions, and delete it within 12 months of your last message.

Visit statistics

The site counts page views and clicks with PostHog, hosted in the EU. It stores an anonymous visitor ID in your browser so repeat visits are not counted twice. We use this only to see which pages help people, and never to build a profile of you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. To do so, reply to any e-mail we sent you, or send a request through the formwith “privacy” in the note. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
